Single Event Effects (SEEs) are caused by a ionising radiation or energetic particles, when hitting or passing through semiconductors. Single Events can cause causing unwanted electronic changes such as bitflips, also adressed as Single Event Upsets (SEU), and they can be quite impactful to each system. Due to ad-vances in miniaturisation, semiconductor elements continue to become smaller and smaller and become increasingly sensitive towards such while radiation sources such as Cosmic radiation, sun flares or local emitters radiation are omnipresent. From space industry towards aerospace and clinical environments, extensive use of datacenters, digital payment methods and currencies to the future of digital development such as autonomous driving or AI driv-en decision making in real-time – flawless operation of highly integrated electronics and their connected computational memories is an essential and failures in data and computing infrastructure become increasing-ly expensive. The Single Event Detection Toolbox is a portable, efficient and simple way to perform SEE/SEU detection on a broader scale. The device comes in the size of a brief case which is easily transportable to different loca-tions and allowing for sensitive and long term testing of multiple devices under real operating conditions whether in space, aerospace or on earth. It enables connectivity of various electronic boards to a detector system to discover and log related related incidents. Hard- and Software Technologies UG is a start-up from Südhessen, consisting of physicists and engineers working in the field of sensitive electronics and radiation.
